Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account on FlatJugaad, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement under Indian law to use FlatJugaad.
3. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of your profile and listings, and for anything that happens through your account. Identity verification is optional but, where completed, must be your own identity — not someone else's.
4. Acceptable use
No discriminatory listings (religion, caste, or community restrictions are blocked at moderation and are not permitted even outside that check), no harassment, no fraudulent listings, no circumventing safety features. Violations may be moderated, reported, or result in suspension — see the Safety Centre for how reports are handled.
5. No brokerage, no payment processing (today)
FlatJugaad does not act as a broker and does not charge brokerage. Any in-app payment flow you see is not yet connected to a live payment processor and cannot move real money — this will be updated here before that changes.
6. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post (listings, profile, messages), but grant FlatJugaad a license to display it on the platform to other users as intended.
7. Limitation of liability
FlatJugaad helps you find and vet flatmates but is not a party to any tenancy or leave-and-license agreement you enter into. We're not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from arrangements you make with other users, to the maximum extent permitted by Indian law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Safety Centre's policies. You can delete your account at any time from profile settings.
9. Governing law

10. Changes to these terms
